VoxTech3D started with a frustration Paul Spoliansky knew from the inside. Over 15 years leading go-to-market at 3D Systems, Carbon, Stratasys, and Axtra3D, he watched the same pattern repeat: breakthrough technology reaching customers wrapped in legacy pricing, closed material ecosystems, and sales models built for the vendor — not the manufacturer. He’d spent his career matching applications to the right technology. Increasingly, the right technology wasn’t coming from the usual names.
Tom Hung saw the same gap from the other side. A serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and manufacturing veteran with deep relationships across Asia’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem, Tom knew that world-class platforms — mature, production-proven, and fairly priced — were being built by companies most American manufacturers had never heard of.
In December 2024, they founded VoxTech3D to close that gap: bringing rigorously vetted micro-DLP and industrial SLA platforms to U.S. manufacturers, backed by American application engineering and service — at a fraction of legacy pricing. Not because the technology is lesser. Because the markup was never about the technology.
